Charles Epstein

Charles Epstein came to the United States in 1968 to attend college and get an engineering degree. He arrived with just $400 in his pocket. He was able to cover his tuition and living expenses and achieve his educational goal by working as a handyman fixing houses. After graduation he got a job as an industrial engineer and six months later was promoted to become the companys plant manager. During the next 25 years he worked in management and productivity improvement consulting for three different companies. However, being employed in the manufacturing sector caused him to lose his job every seven or eight years as companies relocated to other cities or out of the country. Charles concluded that instead of managing someone elses business it would make more sense for him to start a business of his own. While continuing to work for BP for another seven years he began to buy residential properties which he then remodeled and either sold or rented. Once established, he left his employer to work at his own business full time. For the past 18 years he has been managing his own rental business and has been working as a real estate agent helping clients find new homes either for residential or investment purposes. He works very closely with his clients to help them find the right deal to meet their needs. His service to many clients continues even after theyve purchased a house as he helps them with a variety of home maintenance issues that come up later on. Most of his new clients have come from referrals from existing clients who appreciate and are impressed with the level of service that he provides.
